Product Includes (1) SSW-SBC plate and (2) 1" x 4 1/2" Threaded Rods (ASTM A193 B7)
The Steel Strong-Wall steel beam connector (SSW-SBC) features a preassembled high-strength threaded rod and weldable plate for use on projects where the Steel Strong-Wall will be anchored to a steel beam. The SSW-SBC rod and plate are preassembled as a single unit, saving contractors installation time and cost. SSW-SBC is easy to specify, with weld and location provided based on full-scale testing and calculations. The design of the steel beam and web stiffeners are the responsibility of the designer.
