Product Use
Products on this website are designed and manufactured By Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. for the specific purposes shown, and should not be used with other connectors not approved by a qualified designer. Modifications to products or changes in installation procedures should only be made by a qualified designer. The performance of such modified products or altered installation procedures is the sole responsibility of the designer.
Indemnity
Customers or designers modifying products or installation procedures, or designing non-catalog products for fabrication through ConnectorsOnly and by Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. shall, regardless of specific instructions to the user, indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sawmill Building Systems, Inc., ConnectorsOnly and Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. for any and all claimed loss or damage occasioned in whole or in part by non-catalog or modified products.
Non-Catalog and Modified Products
Consult Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. for applications for which there is no catalog product, or for connectors for use in hostile environments, with excessive wood shrinkage, or with abnormal loading or erection requirements.
Non-catalog products must be designed by the customer and will be fabricated by Simpson Strong-Tie in accordance with customer specifications.
ConnectorsOnly and Simpson Strong-Tie Co., Inc. cannot and does not make any representations regarding the suitability of use or load-carrying capacities of non-catalog products. ConnectorsOnly and Simpson Strong-Tie provides no warranty, express or implied, on non-catalog products. F.O.B. Shipping Point unless otherwise specified.
Electronic Commerce:
All website transactions will be subject to the terms and conditions contained herein. The parties acknowledge that no writing shall be required in order to make their electronic transactions legally binding, notwithstanding any contrary requirement in the law. As necessary, the parties will adopt as its signature an electronic identification to be affixed to or contained in each Document transmitted by the party. The parties will implement reasonable security procedures to ensure authorized transmissions and to protect business records and data from improper access. By performing such transactions in the forgoing manner, the parties agree that no signature will be required in order to have a legally enforceable electronic commerce transaction, which will be honored to the fullest extent under law. The parties agree not to contest the validity or enforce-ability of Signed Documents under the provisions of any applicable laws, including any Statute of Frauds statutes, relating to whether certain agreements be in writing and signed by a party in order to be bound. Any such Signed Documents, if introduced as evidence in any legal or administrative proceeding, will be admissible as evidence to the same extent as business records, which originate and are maintained in documentary form. The provisions under this Electronic Commerce paragraph will be in addition to any other agreements entered into between ConnectorsOnly and any purchaser concerning electronic data interchange.
