PFCB26-4B-SDS Post Frame Column Base Bracket

The PFCB post frame column base bracket is engineered to deliver fast, strong, reliable post frame connections for a wide range of foundation conditions. To reduce installation time, the brackets are supplied with Strong-Drive SDS Heavy-Duty Connector screws and don’t require through-bolting. Manufactured from heavy-gauge steel and featuring large corner embossments, these Simpson Strong-Tie connectors provide high-performance, tested and code-listed uplift and shear loads. Each bracket is also G90 galvanized for long-lasting corrosion protection. PFCB brackets are available in a range of sizes to accommodate glulam, nail-lam, planed nail-lam and solid sawn widths. All PFCB models include a built-in washer, helping reduce the risk of misplaced components and ensuring a smooth installation process.

- Use all specified fasteners/anchors.
- Before drilling in concrete and driving anchor screws or bolts, optional set-screw holes are provided for the PFCB to temporarily secure connectors to the concrete foundation.
- Detach the PFCB built-in washers and use them under the head of each concrete anchor. Reference accompanying installation images for correct washer placement. If needed, a ten-pack of replacement washers (PFCW-R10) is available for sale.
- Do not use PFCB pilot holes for concrete anchorage.
