• Available in Marutex® and types 305 and 316 stainless steel
• Marutex: is a heat-treated chrome-moly alloy that provides superior corrosion resistance to type 410 stainless steel and is suitable for more demanding applications
Applications:
• Aluminum and fiberglass fastening (not steel)
Note:
• Types 305 and 316 stainless steel provide superior corrosion resistance and are suitable for softer materials such as aluminum and fiberglass (not steel)
Warning:
• Hardened stainless-steel fasteners should not be used with steel framing in environments with high humidity, condensation or other moisture that will be present at the dissimilar-metal interface.
